All invoices issued by SELARL FOUILLEUL-GRISOLI are detailed to illustrate what each amount corresponds to. The costs and disbursements which the firm could advance in the interest of the client (bailiff’s costs, sending by Chronopost or registered letter, etc.) are also detailed and, where applicable, justified.
When the case is opened, a request for provision is sent to the client, which will allow the lawyer commence proceedings. When the amount of this provision is absorbed by the diligence performed, the firm invoices its fees and expenses over time until the file is closed. A billing history can be sent at the customer’s request.
SELARL FOUILLEUL-GRISOLI adopts an invoicing method that meets the expectations of its customers, the nature of the dispute in question, the technical nature of the services and the ad hoc or usual nature of the file to be processed.
The hourly fee is determined by reference to an hourly rate of remuneration for time spent.
In this situation, a provision will be requested for the first due diligence to be carried out.
The due diligence performed will then be remunerated on the basis of provisional calls.
Here, the services and procedures that give rise to invoicing include in particular: appointments at the office or at the client’s place of business, telephone appointments, drafting, reading or examination of all acts, letters and documents, file, as well as travel times.
This billing method may be appropriate in the context of ad hoc consulting, legal engineering or audit assignments.
The flat-rate fee is used in many proceedings.
The fixed fees correspond to a very precise and clearly defined mission with the client.
This type of invoicing is suitable for traditional litigation and does not offer specific complexity.
Invoicing based on results exclusively is prohibited by French law.
It is, however, possible to provide that part of the fees may be fixed and part will depend on the result.
Our firm employs this at the client’s request (compensation litigation, accident, transaction, expropriation, etc.).
In this case, the fee is determined by the results obtained, or the amount of the conviction avoided and calculated as a global percentage (generally 15% excluding tax of the final sums obtained) or by installment.
